“Even if you’re tired – try to feel and act like you’re not tired, and about ten minutes later you won’t feel tired.”
In his own words…
Sometimes it’s harder to train in the summer because of summer camps and from the temperature. Since it is hot, that will make most people not want to train. You should still train because you will get more classes in for your next belt test, and good attendance is very important for your next belt test. Even if you’re tired – try to feel and act like you’re not tired, and about ten minutes later you won’t feel tired.
When it’s hot teachers offer water breaks, they will open doors, occasionally turn on a fan – And, the Sensei may make the class shorter and slower paced. You may find at the beginning of class that you aren’t paying attention as you normally would – but by the middle of class you will feel more focused.
So, if you feel it’s too hot, just act like it’s a cold day even if you may not feel energetic and come to class!
